Deng Lun (English name: Allen) is a Chinese actor who made his acting debut in the hit romance drama “Flowers in Fog" in 2013. He graduated from the Performance Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy. He is named as one of China’s most accomplished actors, who has garnered both popular and critical acclaim since his debut. He currently holds the No. 1 spot on the top TV drama record for all the "Post-90s Generation" of actors. He is leading the 'top ratings in prime ratings' with "Because of Meeting You" (1.93%) and the 'most rating break 1%' with five dramas (Because of Meeting You, Sweet Dreams, Ashes of Love, My True Friend, and Mr. Fighting).

In 2017, he gained recognition for his strong performance in the critically acclaimed period drama "White Deer Plain", which won him the Breakthrough Actor award at Weibo TV Drama Awards. He also won 2017’s Popular Artist award at the 6th iQIYI Scream Night Awards Ceremony. Despite popular demand, he is unwilling to pursue singing as it detracts him from his acting career. On 15 March 2022 it has been reported that he has been fined 106 million yuan ($16.61 million) for tax evasion, because he evaded to pay taxes between 2019 and 2020, 47.66 million yuan in personal income tax while failing to pay 13.99 million yuan in other taxes. After the audit he took the initiative to pay part of the tax. His weibo has been taken down.
