Huening Kai is a Korean-American singer-songwriter, dancer, rapper, producer, composer, model, radio DJ, and MC managed by BigHit Music. He was the first foreign idol to debut under Big Hit Entertainment. He is a member of the band TXT (TomorrowXTogether) which debuted on March 4, 2019. He became a DJ on the EBS radio show 'EBS FM Listen!' in January 2021.

He is the only son of a Chinese-based Brazilian-American singer and TV personality, Nabil David Huening. His older sister, Lea, is a former member of the girl group VIVA, while his younger sister, Bahiyyih, is currently a member of Kep1er. Kai was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. After he was born, he spent a month in Hawaii, USA, before moving to China and spending around seven years there. At the age of 8, he relocated to South Korea. Kai is fluent in Korean, Mandarin, English, and Portuguese.

On May 31, 2022 TXT will be making their first-ever appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and their first-ever world tour “ACT : LOVE SICK,” in the United States in July 2022.
