Hwang Min Hyun is a South Korean singer and actor. He is a former member of NU'EST and Wanna One. After two years of training, he made his debut as a member of the South Korean group NU'EST on March 15, 2012 with the single titled “Face.” Prior to his debut, he was known for appearing in various music videos such as Hello Venus’s "Venus," Orange Caramel's "Shanghai Romance," and A.S. Blue's "Wonder Boy."

In 2017, Hwang competed on the survival show "Produce 101 Season 2" where he finished in 9th place and qualified to be a member of the show’s project group Wanna One. He carried out activities with the temporary group from August 2017 to December 2018. After Wanna One's disbandment, Hwang returned to his original group's activities when NU'EST released a special digital single "A Song For You" to celebrate NU'EST's 7th anniversary on March 15, 2019. Hwang briefly reunited with Wanna One in the first half of 2022 when the group released an album titled B-Side "Beautiful (Part 3)" on January 27, 2022, and performed together at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Hwang released a digital solo single titled "Universe" on April 3, 2019, as the pre-release from NU'EST sixth EP "Happily Ever After." He made his musical theatre debut as Count Axel von Fersen in the musical Marie Antoinette in 2019. He had his first lead role in the web drama “Live On” in 2020. In 2021, he had his first solo OST titled “I’ll be with you every day" for the MBC series The Red Sleeve.

NU’EST’s contracts expired on March 14, 2022, and Hwang renewed his contract with PLEDIS Entertainment. A compilation album "Needle & Bubble" was released on March 15, 2022, to mark the group's ten-year anniversary as they officially disbanded on the same day. Following the group's disbandment, Hwang will continue his career as an actor and solo musician.

Apart from his idol and acting career, Hwang is also well-known in the fashion and beauty industry. He has been selected as Brand Ambassador, Muse and Model for many other brands such as Innisfree, Yohai Snacks, K-Swiss, Moncler, etc.

Hwang made his solo debut with 1st mini album titled Truth or Lie along with the title track 'Hidden Side' on 27 February, 2023.
